Magicians are masters of illusion. While there are many types of magic and many styles of performers they have this in common. They also have a deep understanding of body language and the way our brains work. By drawing your attention to one hand they can sneak something past you with the other. They combine their knowledge and skills to make the impossible seem possible. Magicians are also very protective of the secrets behind their performances and only share them with other magicians. In the new headquarters for the Society of American Magicians I will use the concepts of mysteries and illusions to create a space that is intriguing and fun for the public visitors while also concealing members only spaces.
